Spinning and Knitting

Experience the traditional art of spinning wool to create your own yarn.  You will be able to spin on both a spinning wheel and with a drop-spindle to create yarn that you will be able to knit into your own creations.

Join us for our knitting and wool-dyeing course where we will show you the immersion wool-dyeing technique.  We will show you the basics, and provide you with wool to dye and keep for your own knitting projects.

February 9th, 5:30-8:00pm
$25 members/$35 non-members

For this class we will continue to work on our knitting skills, as well as learn a different way to dye wool by painting our skeins of yarn.  This technique allows you to use a variety of colors in one skein, creating a multi-colored work of art.

All materials provided.
Kids are welcome with prior approval from RBR staff.
