Snowshoe Tours

Travel along mountain streams, over ridgelines, and through beautiful valleys while learning about mountain ecology on ACES' naturalist guided snowshoe tours. Starting on December 14th, daily snowshoe tours will be offered on top of Aspen Mountain, Snowmass Mountain, and at the Ashcroft Ghost Town.

Aspen Mountain tours will meet daily at the top of the Aspen Mountain gondola at 10am and 1pm. Tickets are $55 for adults, $43 for youth and seniors, and $33 for children. Purchase tickets at any lift ticket office.

Snowmass snowshoe tours will meet daily at the information desk in the ticket pavilion on the Snowmass Mall at 9:30am and 12:30pm. Tickets are $55 for adults, $43 for youth and seniors, and $33 for children. Purchase tickets at any lift ticket office.

Ashcroft snowshoe tours include the historic ghost town of Ashcroft, a gourmet lunch at the Pine Creek Cookhouse, snowshoe rental, and trail pass. Offered daily at 10:30am. Meet at the Ashcroft Ski Touring Center. Tickets are $100. Reservations are required- call 970-925-5756.

 

ACES, in partnership with the Aspen Skiing Company, the United States Forest Service, and the Colorado Division of Wildlife, offers myriad on-mountain programs from mid-December through mid-April.
