Alex Braiedy

Educator - Aspen Elementary School, Crystal River Elementary School

Alex grew up in Minnesota, where she spent plenty of time exploring the lakes and forests of the midwest. She graduated from Carleton College with a degree in Biology and spent time working in schools and coaching swimming. In search of more mountainous terrain, Alex moved to Yosemite where she worked as an outdoor educator and park ranger for several years before landing in the Roaring Fork Valley. Alex loves that Colorado lets her do her favorite outdoor activities – skiing downhill and nordic, trail running, and backpacking in beautiful places.
