Rachel Sherman

Rachel Sherman earned her B.A. in English from Vanderbilt University. She worked as a middle school English teacher as well as a freelance writer and copyeditor. Rachel and her family moved from San Francisco to Aspen in 2006. In Aspen, she has been an active volunteer with the Challenge Aspen Military Opportunities program and the Aspen Education Foundation. Rachel fell in love with ACES while bringing her small children to visit Hallam Lake and the golden eagle. With her children now in elementary school, she sees the significant impact ACES and its educators have on the community and her children’s connection to nature.
