Nature & Me: Animals in Fall!

Parent & Child nature series
Best suited for ages 1-4 year olds

Explorers big and small, join us for this 7-week Nature & Me series and learn about nature’s busy time during the fall months, and how animals enjoy plentiful fruits of early fall as they get into the busy preparations for the winter slumber. The leaves are changing colors, birds are starting to migrate, bears are eating every waking hour to prepare for the colder days…  must be autumn in the mountains! This beginner class will focus on sensory activities, repetition, and becoming comfortable in a group setting and at the Hallam Lake.

Class will be held outside rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the weather each day. Bathrooms will be available.

Registering siblings? If you would like to register multiple children, please make sure to register ALL children. This will automatically include you as the parent. Our system will automatically recognize a sibling discount. If you are a current ACES member, please add your ACES member coupon code at check-out.

Pre-registration:

We will have pre-registration open from September 5-6. This allows you to place a program into your cart, but does NOT guarantee a spot. On September 6, after 12 p.m. you will be able to go to your cart and proceed with checkout. You MUST complete the checkout process to secure your spot(s). If a program that is in your cart fills up, you will automatically be added to the waitlist and not charged for that camp.

How To Get There:

Please walk, bike, bus, or carpool to ACES at Hallam Lake whenever possible! Parking is extremely limited and alternate transportation is fun and saves the planet.

BIKE BOARD CHALLENGE: Fill out a Bike Board Card and add a sticker every time you come to Hallam Lake in something other than your own car. Bike Board participants are entered to win great prizes all summer long including local gift certificates, bike accessories, and more.

PARKING LOT: Limited parking is available for Hallam Lake visitors only. Please park efficiently. Drop-off overflow parking for Hallam Lake programs is available in the West End (2 hour free parking) with an easy walk down the stairs to the center. We are an IDLE FREE community.
