The Last Symphony: A multi-sport, coast-to-coast journey across New Zealand

About the Speaker

Skiing brought Maz Krogh to Aspen where she currently lives and works as a ski instructor. Her passion for skiing has taken her on adventures to mountains all over the world, and made her acutely aware of climate change. She grew up in Aotearoa, New Zealand and returns home frequently to ski, spend time in the mountains and to help lead the New Zealand chapter of Protect Our Winters.

About the Presentation

The symphony on skis is a classic New Zealand ski traverse – but will it be for much longer? Combining trail running, ski mountaineering, packrafting and mountain biking, Maz and her friend Gabby crossed New Zealand’s South Island, raising awareness, connecting with the outdoor community, and encouraging community members to take climate action. Join us to hear more about her adventure and her goal to shed light on climate change.
