Earth Day 2025

This Earth Day, April 22, ACES is excited to participate in the Our Power Our Planet – Basalt Earth Day Celebration at Basalt River Park from 2:00–6:00 PM. Join us and connect with local organizations, explore sustainability initiatives, and take meaningful climate action.

At our booth, we’ll have postcards for you to send to government officials, advocating for climate solutions, along with interactive exhibits on renewable energy as well as a kids activity.

Can’t make it to Basalt? Stop by Hallam Lake or Rock Bottom Ranch between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM to pick up postcards, compost, limit 3: 5 gallon buckets of compost per guest, and enjoy complimentary ​High Desert seed packets (limit 2 per guest). High Desert Seeds are regionally adapted to the extreme conditions of the high-altitude desert regions. Graciously provided by Aspen Distillers, operating one of the most technologically advanced distilleries in balance with the environment.
