Eyewitness to Climate Change: An Aerial Perspective of Denali National Park

Hawk Greenway spent three months flying aerial tours in Denali, Alaska, living inside Denali National Park. He used his aerial tours to demonstrate the way the landscape changed over time, showing people geologic features like faultlines and glacial retreat and interactions with the landscape. These striking and visible features, combined with Hawk’s knowledge of permafrost studies, helped Hawk translate climate trends our world is facing to his tour guests. Join Hawk as he shows off his aerial photographs, discusses life in an Alaskan National Park, and bears witness to the changes in glaciers he has seen over his lifetime.
