Junior Scientists

Get ready to see nature in a new, exciting way and learn about the many roles of a scientist! This week we’ll build an outdoor laboratory and come up with wild investigations as a group to answer questions like, “Why are some leaves green while others are not?” and “Why do beavers live in the water?” Join us in exploring the Hallam Lake Nature Preserve as a biologist, geologist, entomologist, botanist and more, all while conducting science investigations and projects outside! “Nature never hurries. Atom by atom, little by little she achieves her work.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Prerequisite – Kids must have completed Kindergarten to attend this class.
