Winter Explorers Camp – Winter Detectives TWO

Winter Detectives –Whose scat is that? Whose tracks are those? Who’s hunting who and where did that animal go? Enjoy an action-packed winter day tracking animals at ACES Hallam Lake as a Winter Explorer and discover this winter wonderland firsthand.

Winter Explorers camps will require advance registration.

This winter break, ACES will be offering outdoor Winter Explorers Camp on December 20-22 & December 28-30 at Hallam Lake for kids currently enrolled in grades K-4. Sign up for one morning or multiple. Campers will be placed into small grade-level appropriate groups.

Participants will explore the intricacies of the natural world during the winter months, learn about animal and human survival skills, and become snow scientists and master trackers. Visit the ACES website for our current offerings and updates. Winter Explorers camps require advance registration.

Participants will be outside for the duration of the program with indoor access for bathrooms.

The health and well being of our program participants and staff remains our top priority. We continue to closely monitor the public health orders and guidelines from Pitkin County Public Health (and CDC and CDPHE). Stay tuned for any updates based on federal, state, and local public health orders. If we need to make changes to our Winter Explorers camp schedule, we will communicate directly with those who are affected first.

Please review our cancellation policy.

Thank you for your understanding. We hope you are having a wonderful, healthy start to the winter, and look forward to seeing you at ACES soon!
