Join Rock Bottom Ranch staff to explore the Ranch & celebrate Earth Day!

Advanced registration is required.

There will be two special evening tours for Earth Day – one from 4:00-5:00pm, and one from 5:30-6:30pm. Select your time during registration.

This Earth Day, see how livestock, hoop houses, and gardens produce through the summer while learning the science behind our vegetable production and livestock rotational grazing system. Tours are appropriate for all ages and provide opportunities to interact with our livestock and learn where your food comes from.

Get your hands dirty and create a healthier planet by conveniently picking up FREE compost from Pitkin County Landfill at Rock Bottom Ranch from 9am-7pm! On Thursday, April 22, you can bring your own bag, bucket, or other receptacles to pick up compost from the SCRAPS program.

We also encourage you to take the Pitkin County Landfill Earth Day pledge this year!

Tours will be held rain, shine, or snow. Please call Rock Bottom Ranch at 970-927-6760 with questions!

Suggested $5 donation / $10 per family / free for members. You will have the opportunity to donate during registration or at the ranch.
