When we are outside, we are surrounded by music. A roll of thunder, the chirp of a chickadee, the rustle of branches in the breeze, and the thump of your foot on a hollow log are all bits and pieces of a constant natural symphony. This week, we’ll learn about the science of sound and the many ways animals communicate. We’ll make music in nature, make music with nature, and make the most of the music all around us.
