Black-capped Chickadee
House Wren
    American Robin
Gray Catbird
Yellow Warbler
Song Sparrow
Black-headed Grosbeak
Red-winged Blackbird (pictured above)
Yellow-headed Blackbird

Comments: Many juveniles were observed on the wing and interacting with adults. We were also treated to excellent observations of yellow-headed blackbirds and Lewis’ woodpeckers.  Behaviors are fascinating at this time of year when young birds are gaining skills outside their nests.
