Spring Ranchers | Mimicking Nature's Architects (Grades 2-4)
How do bees build hives? How are trees used to create homes for forest animals. How do animals build protective, nurturing environments? Join us for a day of exploring our Rock Bottom Ranch environment to inspire our own natural structures and spaces. We will create stone circles and towers, primitive shelters, and maybe even some bridges and tunnels!
This class is for students currently enrolled in grades 2-4.
What To Bring:
Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for a day at the ranch in spring time! Remember, it can be sunny or snowy, and will probably be wet and muddy! Pack a backpack with snack, lunch, reusable water bottle, raingear, clothing for warm and cold weather, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. Remember to label everything.
How To Get There:
Please bike, walk or carpool to Rock Bottom Ranch whenever possible. Coming to RBR for more than one day? We will help with gathering and sharing carpool information - please let us know if you're interested in carpooling with other parents!
