Denali Barron

Senior Educator

Denali has been working for ACES for more than 10 years. This year she is working part-time, mostly teaching field programs. The rest of her days (and nights) are filled up with parenting a baby and a toddler! Denali grew up in Boulder, Colorado with four siblings who are also named after mountains. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Princeton University. After graduation Denali moved to northern Thailand, where she worked for three years at an experiential education and team building company. Denali returned to Colorado in 2012 to work as an ACES Naturalist. She joined the education team the following year and has been teaching for ACES ever since, though she took a sabbatical during the 2016-17 school year to hike the Continental Divide Trail.
