Diane Moore
Board Chair
Diane Moore is a freelance filmmaker and photographer based in Aspen, Colorado, and has worked in the visual arts field for over 20 years. Her work is driven by an enthusiasm for documenting people, landscapes, and places, and utilizing photography and film to inspire change through community engagement. Her recent award-winning documentary, CONDUCTING LIFE, has subsequently played in over fifty film festivals, and is currently streaming online. Diane was the Co-Producer for the documentary STORY SWAP, which premiered at the Aspen Ideas Festival.
Through the years, Diane has served on the boards of various community organizations in Aspen, including Aspen Words and the Roaring Fork Conservancy. She is a Board member of the newly formed Frontline Film School, which offers a platform for individuals from global conflict regions to share their stories through short films to impact positive social change.
Diane was President / CEO of the Aspen Chamber Resort Association and was responsible for the overall operations and management of the non-profit organization. Prior to her position at the ACRA, she served as the Community Development Director at the City of Aspen. She worked as a project planner with various companies before she relocated to Aspen.
Diane’s passion for environmental advocacy and education extends to her personal time where she can be found hiking and exploring Colorado’s backcountry, along with photographing landscapes and wildflowers. She also enjoys biking, skiing, art, reading, and traveling with her husband to destinations around the world. Diane received her M.S. in Environmental Health from the University of Rhode Island her B.A. from Villanova University.
