Iona Normandi

Summer Naturalist

Iona graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Sustainable Environmental Design and Science, Society, and the Environment. She is passionate about food systems outreach and education, and interned for the Conscious Kitchen working in the garden with students. Iona also educated people about all kinds of sustainable homestead lifestyles, including beekeeping, gardening, and mushroom foraging at The Fairfax Backyard Farmer. Iona loves backpacking, and traveling the diverse landscapes of the American West cultivated in her a sense of stewardship with the land.
