Lahrs Quinlan

Summer Naturalist

Lahrs majored in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology and minored in Spanish at Colorado State University. Lahrs grew up in Colorado camping, skiing, and hiking in the mountains. He has spent the last year leading community outreach programs in Florida and Costa Rica, and is excited to be back in the mountains. In Florida, he worked as an environmental educator at MacArthur Beach State Park, and in Costa Rica, he was a research assistant at the Sea Turtle Conservancy. At CSU, his thesis project examined activity patterns of three nectarivorous bat species in Northern Mexico.
