Mia Prausnitz-Weinbaum

Summer Naturalist

Mia went to Brown University, where she majored in Environmental Studies, which gave her a passion for understanding, as well as helping others understand, the natural world. That passion led her to study climate cycles at the Ibarra Lab at Brown and work in student/faculty outreach at the Brown Office of Sustainability. As part of Brown Outdoor Leadership Training, Mia led backpacking trips throughout New England and outdoor skills training programs for fellow students. Mia loves sewing, printmaking, knitting and crocheting.
