ACES Middle School Outdoor Adventures 2026
ACES offers week-long Middle School Outdoor Adventures for students entering 5th-8th grade in Fall of 2026.
These programs run June 15 – August 14 and are offered at Hallam Lake and Rock Bottom Ranch. Our standard days run from 9:30am – 3:30pm. We also offer a variety of overnight and backpacking opportunities.
ACES Middle School Outdoor Adventures blend age-appropriate challenge with hands-on learning, giving pre-teens an opportunity to build confidence, teamwork, and real-world skills. From foraging and farming to outdoor survival, each program is designed to encourage middle schoolers to grow, learn, and discover their capabilities.
Scholarship applications will be available starting February 10! ACES Summer Program Scholarships are available for full-time residents (children need to attend school in the Roaring Fork Valley or in the Re-2 School District; adults need to rent/own a home and live in the area on a full-time basis). Please be sure to complete your scholarship application form prior to the start of registration.
Please review ACES Summer Program Cancellation Policy, waitlist policy, gear lists, and other frequently asked questions. Policies are subject to change. We are in the process of updating our information for Summer 2026.
