Colorado Youth Climate Summit 2026

The Colorado Youth Climate Summit is a two-day, overnight, in-person event for youth in grades 8-11 to learn about local impacts of climate change and engage in surfacing solutions. At the Summit, students will develop a climate action plan that they can use to implement climate solutions in their own communities. Young people will leave ready to accelerate change in their lives, schools, and communities, and to work toward earning the Seal of Climate Literacy.

The Summit is part of the Colorado Youth Climate Program (CYCP), a year-round, youth-driven initiative designed to empower youth—specifically from rural Western Colorado—to become climate action leaders. The CYCP is a collaborative production of Wild Rose Education and the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies.

Generous thanks and appreciation to the Aspen Community Foundation for their 2026 support.
