Open House & Community Thank You

For the past several months, ACES — in partnership with the Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE), Green Line Architects, MM-Eight Construction & a range of other local partners — has been building a 1,880 square foot house in Carbondale to provide additional staff housing for its employees. This community project, known as the ACES Urban Farmhouse, has brought together a very skilled team in an integrative design process to produce an affordably built, efficient home for ACES’ environmental science educators and staff in the Roaring Fork Valley. 

Join ACES & our amazing project partners for an open house & community thank you on July 30th from 5 — 7pm! We will be showing off this incredible new space, as well as the green-building technology used in its construction. This event is the culmination of community green-building workshops that ACES, CORE, Green Line Architects & CLEER offered this past spring at the Urban Farmhouse job site in Carbondale.

We’ll be providing light snacks & beverages! Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the completion of ACES’ Urban Farmhouse & the collaboration of green-building partners throughout the valley. We’ll see you there!
