Winter Explorers Camp
Winter Explorers camp require advanced registration. This camp runs over three consecutive mornings.
Come explore the intricacies of the natural world during the winter months and how animals use their winter superpowers to survive. Test out your ability to survive in the cold, snowy mountains, and explore snow science at ACES Hallam Lake for three mornings this holiday season!
Participants will be outside for the duration of the program with limited indoor access for bathrooms and/or emergencies only.
This program is for students currently enrolled in grades K-4. Campers will be placed into small grade-level appropriate groups and be with the same group for all three mornings.
The health and well being of our program participants and staff remains our top priority. We continue to closely monitor the public health orders and guidelines from Pitkin County Public Health (and CDC and CDPHE). Stay tuned for any updates based on federal, state, and local public health orders. If we need to make changes to our Winter Explorers camp schedule, we will communicate directly with those who are affected first.
Please review our cancellation policy.
Thank you for your understanding. We hope you are having a wonderful, healthy start to the winter, and look forward to seeing you at ACES soon!
