Winter Survival with Fire (Grades K-1)

Test out your ability to survive in the cold, snow-filled mountains. Fire gives us light, cooks our food, helps us make tools and manages our forest ecosystems. Learn about the amazing gift of fire and how we use it to survive the winter. Enjoy an action-packed winter day cooking over a fire at ACES Hallam Lake as a Winter Explorer and discover this winter wonderland firsthand.
