Picnic on the Preserve Recap 2023

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who joined us for a great annual membership picnic at Hallam Lake! We had a great turnout with delicious food from Back Door Catering, a kids pin making craft station, and so much fun all around! Despite the temperamental weather, we still had a wonderful time. Your presence at the Picnic on the Preserve made it an exceptional evening, and we truly appreciate your continued support.

Please join us in extending a huge thank you to our generous sponsor, Obermeyer Wood, for sponsoring this event.

Also, special thanks to our agriculture team at Rock Bottom Ranch for providing farm-fresh ingredients for the meal, including beef, radishes, and greens.

Supporting ACES is one of the simplest and most impactful ways to support regenerative agriculture, forest and climate initiatives, and environmental education across all age demographics. With your support, we are able to provide so many incredible community programs like our daily Naturalist-guided Maroon Bells Crater Lake Hikes, Friday morning Egg Collection at Rock Bottom Ranch, daily Birds of Prey Demonstrations, our annual Raptor Fair, as well as our Naturalist and Education programs.

We look forward to seeing you at these amazing community programs and upcoming events, and encourage you to spread the word to family and friends to become a member too!

Thank you for taking part in such a wonderful evening. We will see you next year!
