Molly Moran

Vegetable Apprentice

Molly grew up in Virginia and majored in Geology at The College of William & Mary. At William & Mary, she balanced a love of the outdoors with artistic pursuits, leading trips though the school’s outdoor recreation program, printmaking, and performing with the school’s improv comedy group. After graduating, she worked as a teacher’s assistant in special education, finding creative ways to support student success. Molly fell in love with the West while working in Meeker, Colorado, collecting soil and vegetation data in the White River National Forest.

This past summer and winter, Molly worked as a naturalist at ACES teaching visitors about the ecology of the Roaring Fork Valley.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time outside with friends hiking, biking, and making art!
