Alissa Frame

Summer Naturalist

Alissa graduated from the University of Vermont, where she majored in Environmental Studies and minored in Writing and Food Systems. In Vermont, Alissa explored a place-based history of the landscape, learning about plant and animal species as well as geologic formations. Alissa is passionate about farming and spent a semester conducting research in Tanzania on agroecology and women farmers. Her excitement for farming has also been stoked by a love of home gardening, which she learned from her grandmother.
