Ansley Kircher

Livestock Apprentice

Ansley is a Tennessee native, but first discovered her interest in farming while studying agriculture at Auburn University. She began working and volunteering on several farms throughout college, mostly working with horses and dairy animals. Through her studies and work experiences she found a passion for both the physical work of farming as well as the intellect and knowledge of the natural world that it requires to be successful. After graduating with a degree in Agricultural Sciences, Ansley became interested in small-scale regenerative agriculture and decided to begin her farming journey as an apprentice. She is particularly interested in intensive grazing management, and how grazing systems can mimic natural ecological processes to promote pasture and soil health.

When she’s not building fences or wrangling llamas on the ranch, Ansley enjoys exploring the mountains, jumping into any body of water, or curling up with a good book.
