Elizabeth Kaplan

Lizzy graduated from Bowdoin College with a major in Environmental Studies and Economics and a minor in Biology. While in college, she captained the varsity sailing team, conducted research on Maine’s environmental movement in the 1960s and 70s, and studied abroad in Portugal. After graduation, Lizzy was a fellow for the U.S. Dept of Energy ORISE program, where her work led to funding and installation of solar arrays in Kotzebue, Alaska. Most recently, Lizzy worked as a ski patroller at Aspen Highlands.
