Leslie Lamont

Leslie grew up in Colorado. Leslie attended undergraduate education at the University of Oregon and received a Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina. After graduate school, Leslie worked for the Boston Redevelopment Authority, and in 1989, moved back to Colorado to work for the City of Aspen in the Community Development Department.  

Leslie served as a County Commissioner for 5 years, 1995-2000. Additional board experiences include the Ross Montessori School Board, the Carbondale Housing Authority and Carbondale Senior Housing Corporation. Leslie currently lives in Carbondale with her husband, Lance Luckett who served on the ACES Board from 1996-2004, and her two sons, William and Lyle Luckett. She has her own land use consulting firm and looks forward to bringing her local land use experience to the ACES Board.
