Maureen Stapleton
After establishing a successful real estate career on the East Coast, Maureen transitioned to Aspen in 1991 and has since become a cornerstone of the Roaring Fork Valley’s professional community. A past President and current member of the Aspen Board of Realtors (ABOR), Maureen’s career is defined by her extensive leadership and service. She has represented our region at the state level as a CAR (Colorado Association of REALTORS®) Director, hosted the statewide CAR Conference in Aspen Snowmass, and served on the ABOR fundraising and scholarship committees. Her dedication was officially recognized by her peers when she was honored as Realtor of the Year.
Maureen’s commitment to the valley extends far beyond real estate. A passionate advocate for local youth, she is a past board member of the Aspen Education Foundation and a dedicated supporter of the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club. When she isn’t working, Maureen is most likely found outdoors. Whether she is hiking, gardening, or quietly admiring the local wildlife—to whom she is a natural magnet—she finds her greatest peace in the Colorado landscape. Maureen is the proud mother of her daughter, Chandler, a fifth-generation Aspenite. For Maureen, there is simply no other place in the world to call home.
