McKenna Sanchez

Naturalist

McKenna graduated from Texas A&M University, majoring in Ecology and Conservation Biology. McKenna has traveled all over the country pursuing ecological fieldwork, from studying songbirds, woodpeckers, and jays in Michigan and Florida, to conducting high-elevation climate change research at Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory (RMBL). McKenna fell in love with Colorado during her time at RMBL and spent every free day scrambling up the high peaks in Crested Butte’s backyard. McKenna is excited to combine her biological knowledge with experience in interpretation, enabling her to share that passion.
