Melanie Matthews

Educator

Melanie is a Colorado local who loves exploring the world around her. She studied Human Dimensions of Natural Resources and Spanish at Colorado State University where she taught forestry, environmental, and conservation education for communities around the state. During the last few years, Melanie has worked with preschool through high school students, encouraging hands-on learning and engagement with the natural world and has trained educators in forestry and water education for their classrooms. In her free time, Melanie loves to explore, take photos, crochet, sing, and work on completing her Rocky Mountains Wildflower BINGO!
