Rayna Carner

Naturalist

Rayna graduated from Tulane University with dual degrees in Earth Science and in Environmental Studies. While in college, she captained the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team, led campus tours, and wrote an Honors Thesis about carbon sequestration in the Mississippi River Delta. In Colorado, Rayna has worked as a ski instructor in Winter Park, as a raft guide in Idaho Springs, and as a snowshoe guide in Rocky Mountain National Park. Back east, she worked as a naturalist and manager at the Appalachian Mountain Club’s backcountry hut system.
