Tomakin Archambault
Tomakin Archambault was born in Estes Park, Colorado, and lives in Snowmass Village with his wife and two sons. He is the CEO and Managing Partner of GSSG Solar, a company that develops, invests, and manages solar and battery storage projects, primarily located in Japan and Taiwan. Prior to founding GSSG in 2012, Tomakin was the VP of Finance & Investment and co-head of the Global Special Situations Group at SunEdison and was an original member of a wind and solar investment platform at a private investment fund where he originated, structured, and invested in solar portfolios across the U.S. He developed his love for the Roaring Fork Valley at his dream job out of college at the Rocky Mountain Institute. He enjoys playing C-league hockey, spending time outdoors with his family, and making things with hot glue and cardboard. Tomakin received his B.S. in mechanical engineering with honors from the University of Denver and his M.S. in civil engineering (Atmosphere/Energy group) from Stanford University.
