Sheri is the founding Principal of Bluegreen, a landscape architecture and design studio that combines art and environmental resiliency to create extraordinary places. Sheri arrived in Aspen in 1997. She is the former board chair of both the Aspen-Pitkin Housing Authority and Roaring Fork Leadership. She served as a member of the Pitkin County Planning and Zoning Commission and a member of the Oversight Committee for the 2000 Aspen Area Community Plan Update. Sheri is involved in a number of design and sustainability initiatives including the American Society of Landscape Architecture and US Green Building Council. While serving on the board of the USGBC Colorado Chapter, Sheri spearheaded the creation of the Roaring Fork Branch. Sheri lives in Aspen with her husband, Chris Bendon, and their two fur kids, Labrador retrievers Jones and Bates.
